In 2015 we started a new church plant in Brentry and Henbury called Branch Community Church.

Branch meets every Sunday at 4pm in Brentry Primary School.

This year marks 50 years since Concorde’s maiden flight - from Toulouse on 2nd March 1969, with the first British flight taking place from Filton on 9th April 1969 - and we will celebrating this incredible milestone with special activities throughout the year.

Starting in the earliest days of powered flight, Aerospace Bristol will whisk you away on an immersive journey through more than a century of incredible aviation achievements and fascinating tales of human endeavour.

From bold pioneers taking to the skies in their magnificent flying machines, to the remarkable men and women who played their part in two world wars, to those who dreamed a seemingly-impossible dream of supersonic travel: then created the iconic Concorde to turn that dream into reality.

Your journey takes you from the beginnings of the British and Colonial Aeroplane Company in 1910 all the way through to the modern day, where you will explore cutting-edge technology, and look ahead to an exciting future, discovering how the next generation of engineers will continue to push aerospace technology to new heights and reach for the stars.

A visit to Aerospace Bristol is a chance to travel through the decades, enjoy fun interactives and amazing exhibits - including aeroplanes, helicopters, missiles, satellites, engines and more - and immerse yourself in a story of ordinary people achieving extraordinary things. 

OPENING HOURS

Aerospace Bristol is open 7 days a week (including Bank Holidays), with the exception of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Our current opening hours are 10am – 5pm, with last entry at 4pm.

The Concorde Hangar - or the whole of Aerospace Bristol - may be closed to the general public for up to 4 days each year.

Aerospace Bristol will be closed on:

• Saturday 22nd June 2019

The Concorde Hangar will be open until 4pm (rather than the usual 5pm) on the following dates:

• Friday 8th March 2019
• Tuesday 9th April 2019

Any further closure dates will be announced on the website in advance, so please check this page for the latest information before travelling.

Group visits to aerospace Bristol: A first class experience

Concorde didn’t have a first class section - on Concorde, every seat was first class - and it’s the same at Aerospace Bristol. Our friendly and knowledgeable team are committed to delivering the best possible experience for every visitor and will ensure that all members of your group enjoy a first class experience.

If you choose not to go for the Concorde50 package, but would still like to book a group visit for 20 or more, you can enjoy the following fantastic benefits:

• Discounted group rates: Adult £12.00 (saving 27%), Child £7.00 (saving 23%)
• Guided highlight tours available for an additional £5pp
• Free coach and minibus parking on site
• Free entry for the group leader (for groups of 20+) and the coach driver.

Re-fuel in the Café

Don’t worry – you may be on a flight through more than one hundred years of history, but during a visit to Aerospace Bristol, you can expect much better than your typical in-flight meal!

Our café offers a delicious range of freshly-made light meals, snacks and drinks, served throughout the day, with a special children’s menu and high chairs available.

Entry to the café is free and open to all, every day during museum opening hours.

Concorde Café

Enjoy a cake and coffee under Concorde in our new pop-up café. Serving freshly brewed coffees and teas, and a delicious selection of cakes baked on-site, it’s the perfect place for some mid-flight refuelling on your journey through Bristol’s aerospace history.

Situated under the tail of the last ever Concorde to fly, the Concorde Café is open to all ticket holders every day during peak museum opening hours.
